EXPLORE THE GALAPAGOS

Kayak the GalapagosA visit to the Galapagos Islands is custom designed by mother nature to refresh your sense of awe. Five million years ago volcanoes erupted beneath the Pacific Ocean, magma exploded upward creating a ring of 13 islands, 17 islets, and 47 underwater reefs. Still filled with the rare and isolated life forms that inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution you will see an archipelago like nowhere else on earth. Many of the Galapagos creatures have no natural predators and as a result are apparently fearless and curious about your visit.

Breathe in the curiosity of biology: Enjoy the crazy courtship dance of blue-footed boobies. Hike ancient lava floes and contemplate giant tortoises, and flightless cormorants. Slip into a sea kayak and explore hidden tide pools, mangrove forests, red, black, and amazing green sand beaches. Put on a mask and snorkel and enter the delicate balance under the water, swim back and forth across the equator with sea lions while watching schools of spotted eagle rays slip by underneath.

The world has a declining number of truly special places, and fewer still that live up to their hyperbole. Join us for eye-ball to eye-ball encounters that will lift your soul.

A seasoned Captain, eight dedicated crew members, and two experienced English-speaking naturalist guides attend to the details of your Galapagos cruise. Each naturalist takes a group of no more than 10 passengers on shore excursions and shares extensive insights into the Islands' diverse wildlife, and is also available to answer questions after dinner. Small wooden boats, locally called pangas, ferry passengers to shore for daily Island Excursions. Sea Kayaks and Diving are available for interested guests, and we enjoy making accommodations for dietary accommodations.
